In collaboration with Civida Affordable Housing, Central Village is a 48-unit multi-family complex located on 117 Street and 107 Avenue in Edmonton, Alberta. The building design focuses on maximizing panel layouts to reduce waste and minimize cutoffs, while also incorporating unique features, in particular, architectural features around balconies to add dimension and depth. A corner cap with fluted metal wall panels adds a pop of color and texture to the structure, while balcony fascia and soffit in Civida’s brand colors blend building elements seamlessly. Privacy panels between tenant units and the incorporation of an existing arch further add to the building’s aesthetic appeal. Hardie panels and custom trellis design over the entryway adds a contemporary yet eye-catching design.
